So SWAY gives kudos to Forbidden Nightclub for their new and improved weekly line up as well as special events, and we’re gonna give you all the juiciest bits of Forbidden’s fruit!Starting out under the “If it’s not broke, don’t fix it” mentality, Forbidden’s kept their Thursday nights: INFERNO Thursdays. If you’ve ever experienced INFERNO, you know it’s HOT. It’s 18 and over, which is an awesome opportunity to take your barely legal friends out and still enjoy yourself, as OZ is strictly 21 and over with $4 well drinks and Long Islands from 9 to midnight, $5 Patron shots at midnight, and $4 bombers from midnight to close. Those same under-agers can make sure you get safely home after dancing the night away, so it’s a win-win situation for everyone involved!
And you can start the weekend off right with CIRCUIT Fridays at Forbidden! Deejay Juan Rocha will be spinning the beats to keep you movin’ as you sip 3-4-1 vodka cocktails till 10:30, $5 Skyy, and $6 Hornitos Plata Margaritas all night long!
If you like 3-4-1 Fridays, you’ll love them again on Saturday! With those again till 10:30, as well as $5 Three Olives cocktails all night long, and Deejay SisterSin behind the turntable, HOT & SEXY Saturdays are sure to live up to their name!
While all that is happening at Forbidden on Friday and Saturday, over at OZ Cabaret, they’ve got additional entertainment available when you need to take a breather from dancing your ass off. Starting Friday, September 14th, The Men of Forbidden Male Review show begins at 10PM, with the same Friday drink specials. And this ain’t your average strip show; along with the normal dancing and poles, there’ll be burlesque as well! Saturdays will have the Blonde One, Miss Barbra Seville herself, hosting a weekly show starting Saturday, August 22nd at 10PM in the OZ Cabaret with the same Saturday drink specials.
In the near future, grab your best hipster gear, dye your hair hot pink, and get ready to jam to the hottest Indie Rock, Pop, New Wave, and Electro beats during ASS GRAB Wednesdays. Starting on Wednesday, September 16th, you’ll be able to enjoy 75 cent well, wine, and draft during this newest addition to the Forbidden’s week.
If all the above mentioned reasons haven’t yet enticed you to get off your couch and head to Scottsdale, maybe some of the following Special Guests and Events will convince you that Forbidden is the place to party. On Saturday, August 22nd, Deejay Mic Mixxers will be in the house, and the week after that, on the 29th, Deejay Chris Adams, all the way from Pirahna in Las Vegas heads south to grace us with his spinning skills. Friday, September 4th brings us the return of CLUB PAPI! During this CIRCUIT FRIDAY exclusive, national recording artist, FEY and various special deejays will make this night caliente! The next night, Saturday, September 5th, Forbidden opens its doors as the Official IONAZ Splash Bash After Party AND host the return of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence’s RED HOT SALVATION in OZ. Making that weekend a Triple Threat, on Sunday, September 6th, be on the lookout for TOO MANY DEEJAYS! Featuring 24 (that’s right, 24!) of the hottest Valley deejays in a spin-off, this night is sure to be legendary, and with it running till 4AM (18 and over after hours begin at 2AM), it’s a good thing Labor Day’s the next day, ‘cause we’re sure you’ll wanna sleep in!
BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE! Mark your calendars NOW for Friday, September 25th, because Forbidden’s booked the fantastic and fabulous Frenchie Davis! This delightful diva from American Idol has appeared on Broadway in Rent, Ain’t Misbehavin’, and Dreamgirls, and she’ll be the Valley’s own Dreamgirl for One Night Only! And this is only the beginning of what Forbidden’s got to offer in the future. We look forward to seeing YOU on the dance floor!
