From time to time, everyone deserves a little pampering and the team and SWAY Events in no exception. Although I admit, some of us treat ourselves more than others! On my last trip to San Francisco I was treated to a much needed, albeit not entirely deserved, trip to the spa.

I’ve been to some great spas in SF that are truly gorgeous and decadent and make their guests feel like queens. But this last time I went with trendy and booked treatments at the Bliss Spa inside of the W Hotel.

While the total experience can not rival that of the Ritz or Bloomingdale’s Burke William’s, it was funky fresh in design and mood just like the products themselves. The lounge was very small but offered me brownies and the wait to see my masseur was not long. The Blissage75 body massage and treatment was gorgeous; incredibly relaxing, very slow and, for lack of a more appropriate word, sensual.

After my massage, I was ushered back to the lounge for a shower and a steam. The dry sauna was broken, sucky, and the wet sauna was actually in the shower, of which there were only two – weird. After my shower I wanted to pamper with lotions and creams, and there were some, but there were no hair products and they didn’t even offer guests the opportunity to comb their hair. I wasn’t super excited about the lounging experience, but the robes were great and I was happy as I still had one more treatment to go.

So far cool brand, soft robe, and good massage but the big winner in this spa experience was the Triple Oxygen Treatment – their “most famous and red carpet revered” treatment. From the start it was obvious to see why! Not only was my aesthetician incredibly knowledgeable and so totally focused on fixing my skin, but she made my face feel like a million bucks! This facial is not done with steam, it’s a dry facial, that includes many layers of creams and masks and serums and peels and it left my skin more soft and supple and gorgeous than it has ever been!

The last part of the treatment consisted of oxygen from a tank being blasted across the top of my newly cleaned skin. I LOVED it and for all of the minor negatives, this treatment will keep me coming back for more!
